A Little Fun

Trumpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Trumpty Dumpty had a great fall

But all of the women and all of the men

Would not put Trumpty together again.

They knew that nobody’d be helped by the wall

So they shelved all his plans, choosing love above all

Compassion, acceptance, the only clear ways

To all live together in the peace they all craved

They even fixed Trumpty, who once he gave in

Knew his heart had been broken, twas now time to mend

His legacy then, not a wall, but a spark

That inspired the people to come out of the dark

To do what they knew in their hearts was right

To forgive and move on, work together in the light
